2009's first allotment barbeque. James being very amusing with his sausage on a stick. (From left to right: Verity's nose, Flea, Denise, Mark, Jane, James, Bruno (can you spot him?), Tor's back.)
We had to turn inland from the coastal path to make our way back to the car. Our route took us through country lanes that were thick with blackthorn blossom and gorse. I'm sure I say it every year but I don't remember the blossom being this amazing last year!
To celebrate about 200 family birthdays (including one 30, one 60 and one 90 (apparently)) the Grants and almost every member of extended family went to Anglesey for a week's holiday. We stayed in City Dulas (not a city) and from there travelled the width and breadth of the island in search of views, birds and seals. On easter day we walked along the coastal path from Cemlyn. I took this on the spit in Cemlyn bay.
