Malham, Yorkshire

Nora and Uwa are old friends from Davos. They came to visit Tor and me in Leeds so we took them out to the Dales to see Malham and the surrounding area. Matt, Tor, Nora and Uwa admiring Janet's Foss.

Grenoble, France

En route to Les Deux Alpes we stopped for a night in Grenoble. I was in search of another geocache when I saw this.

Snowdonia, Wales

Snowdonia, Wales

Easter was spent climbing in north Wales. We didn't arrive until Friday afternoon so by the time we came to walk down from our first route (Tennis Shoe at Glyder Fach) the sun had already set.

It has been pointed out that if someone suggests that something might make a good photo and encourages someone else to take a photo of that something and then that someone else uses that photo in their blog then the first someone should receive some acknowledgement. I don't agree, Matt.

Arran, Scotland

I went back a day later to the bay where Clare had left her standing stones to see if they had survived the tide. All of them had disappeared, except for this one.

Arran, Scotland

This is Machrie bay (also known as Base).

Arran, Scotland

Arran, Scotland

There's an old boat house on the shore Loch Lorsa that was all locked up but the door was was starting to rot. Through a crack in the wood I saw this net slumped on the floor.

Arran, Scotland

Clare very kindly came out to Arran to help. While she was there we went on a walk to Loch Lorsa on the west of the island to find my first geocache.
