Lawrencefield, Peak District

Thanks to Denise for the loan of her camera.

Lawrencefield, Peak District

Lawrencefield is one of the most beautiful little climbing areas- where else do you get to climb and hang out in such Lord of the Rings-esque scenery? Thanks to Denise for the loan of her camera.

Olivia and I thought it was about time had a proper catch-up so we decided we'd meet half way between London and Leeds and spend the weekend together. We ended up on the north coast of Norfolk in a beautiful village called Blakeney where seals can be found in abundance. Denise very kindly leant me her new camera for the weekend so thanks to her for all the Blakeney pictures.

Settle, Yorkshire

There is a new sport climbing crag at Settle that overlooks the town. This is the view from the crag. I think it looks like a model town.

Rodley, West Yorkshire

I was lucky enough to get a place on the Alexander von Humboldt Rodley Nature Reserve Expedition. Meeting at the gates of the reserve my charming guides (the Frau and Kay) took me to all the best nature spotting locations within the reserve. For the occasion James very kindly leant me his fancy camera so thanks to him for all the following pictures.

La Berarde, France

Walking off the top and back down to La Berarde after my last route, with La Meije and the Promontoire hut in the background. Great week.

The next day was my last day so as a special treat Cathryn and I went SPORT CLIMBING (Yay!). We did a 13 pitch sport route up this little hump, which conveniently overlooked the campsite. It was awesome!
