Ranakpur, India
En route to Udaipur we stopped off to see this Jain temple. The temple is breath-taking, every inch of it intricately carved. We were lucky enough to arrive just as the afternoon light was streaming though.
Rohetgarh, India
A guide from the village of Rohetgarh took us a little way from the village to visit a Jina settlement.

Nimaj, India
Many of the places we stayed in had these beautiful wall paintings, everywhere you looked. I had wondered how they were done, imagining templates and spray paint but we happened to see this man at work using just a paint brush and paint, not even a ruler.

Ranthambore, India
We stayed in Ranthambore for 3 days in the hope of finding a tiger. Though we searched really hard and nearly found one on several occassions we never caught a glimpse. We did however see many other just as beautiful things.
