Bowden Doors, Northumberland
Weekends at the moment are for Alps training. This meant that on Saturday we were to be found walking in the Cheviots, in the rain, with very heavy packs. Thankfully Sunday was a lot nicer so we went to Bowden Doors (Northumberlands answer to Stanage) for some climbing.

Rydal, Lake District
As if the weekend couldn't get anymore perfect: we all decided that we would be much better off to wait here on Sunday evening for all the traffic to go before driving back to Leeds. Thanks to Tor for the picture. Well, while we're waiting we might as well...
Rydal, Lake District
Summit photo. This obviously says "Hello Cathryn", but some people have commented that it might not be that clear. Thanks to Cathryn for the picture.
Rydal, Lake District
On Saturday Cathryn, Maria, Tor and I competed in the Sam Houghton mountain bike challenge starting in Staverly and winding 46km into the mountains before ending up back in Staverly for beers and medals. Pictures from that on their way. The next day we decided to do something a little less strenuous so we went for a walk up above Rydal water. This is Maria, Tor and Cathryn admiring the beautiful view.

Team Tor and Rosey, shooting off the starting line of the 3rd Sam Houghton Mountain Bike challenge. 46km, 1400m ascent. We came 2nd in our category. Yes, that's right, 2nd.

Ilkley, West Yorkshire
Cathryn and I went out to Ilkley to get a few routes in after work. You can imagine our surprise when this chap started tight-rope walking above the entrance to the quarry.
