Walking up to the base of our first routes on The Ben, North and South Castle Gully. The sun was just starting to touch the tops of the cliffs and it was having a very positive effect on all of us- a 2 and a half hour walk in, in the dark, gives you plenty of time to wonder why-oh-why are you doing this! Ben Nevis, Scotland
